On June 15, 2016, Public Advocates submitted comments on behalf of the 6 Wins Network regarding the scope of the Draft Environmental Impact Report for Plan Bay Area 2040. The letter urges the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and Association of Bay Area Governments to include an Equity, Environment and Jobs (EEJ) Alternative in the alternatives analysis; to analyze the environmental effects of economic displacement and poor jobs-housing fit; and to describe measures to mitigate the effects of displacement and improve jobs-housing fit.
