July 3, 2017 – Jean Tepperman of Oakland Magazine writes about Plan Bay Area 2040–an effort by regional planning agencies to guide housing and transportation development over the next 20 years. Tepperman notes that this plan does little to address the affordable housing and congestion crisis in the Bay Area.
Senior staff attorney David Zisser is quoted in the article and he calls for much stronger support for lower income communities in this regional plan.
